I have started studying with Carlos in January 2022, with little confidence in my Japanese. In half a year, Carlos helped me to boost my language skills and guided me through the JLPT N2 exam which I passed! His knowledge of kanji and vocabulary paired with his teaching method really motivated me to regain confidence with the language. Learning radicals through thorough explanations and consistent exam tackling strategy consolidated my understanding in most areas and overall improved my fluency. Cannot recommend him enough, especially as an adult working full time that has little to no time left for self study!!!

Carlos is an amazing teacher. He is very passionate and knowledgeable about what he does. His unique way of teaching helped me to re-learn the language and prepare for the JLPT exam in a short period of time, with only doing Japanese for an hour a day.
